Sun and warmth. No rain, no clouds and no gale force winds. A perfect Sunday. I've turned the compost, fixed the compost bin, worked on the worms, cleaned the pond, deadheaded, transplanted, re-potted and mowed. I got the wheelbarrow out. It's red so that it goes faster.
I managed to snap a couple of shots in between chores. And now I'm off to bed. Goodnight.

What a busy day you've had ... great photos. The wind died down here too after yesterday's almost cyclonic frenzy. A little overcast, but the temps dropped considerably last night and today up here ... a very cool mid-Spring day.
Love your red rose and your Celosia ... great fern shot too!
love the idea of a red wheelbarrow, unfortunately my garden is so steep with steps etc that a wheelbarrow is out of the question, might be why I have a bad back!!
Looks like you have more blooms after Bloom Day. You have done so much for the day but you have missed one thing; growing chillies.
Sounds like you were getting gardening withdrawals and needed a good hit. It was the same here. I'm glad that wind has gone.
It is windy here in Adelaide on Sunday and we feel like we are back in winter. Its that gazania that is blooming in your garden. Mine won't bloom because the sun has not kiss it due to cloudy days we have here.
I think we have that same wind over here. Much too cold for me! I'm glad you had such a fulfilling day. No wonder you were tired!
Great photos.
I had Pink Mulla Mulla this summer but I overwatered it in the pot before I planted it and drowned the poor thing. I hadn't seen it before. Interesting plant.
Ooooh, I love the pastel dream that is the eighth shot down! What is that one? My hand's are involuntarily doing the gimme gimme thing!
It's an aloe, so put on the heavy gloves. It's ouchy.
Are they the flower stalks of that one that's fourth shot down? They're beautiful, aren't they?
